During this month of May all of us here at Butterfield wish all mothers a blessed and joyful Mother ’ s Day . As we also observe Memorial Day we remember and honor all those who have given their lives in service to our country .

Eddie Tennison was born Aug . 15 , 1940 , to Elmer and Juanita ( Stevens ) Tennison in Monett , Missouri . He was the second oldest of eight children . Eddie had six sisters , Delores , Sandy , Carol , Nita , Linda Marilyn , and one brother , Larry .
Eddie ’ s life-long hobbies of hunting and fishing began during his childhood . He enjoyed fishing at the James River and in the Cape Fair area of Table Rock Lake .
In 1960 , Eddie graduated from Monett High School and shortly after joined the U . S . Air Force . He developed a love for flying planes and obtained and maintained a pilot ’ s license for many years . He enjoyed flying out of the Monett and Aurora airports and would venture to other local areas .
When Eddie ’ s service to the Air Force ended , he married Rebecca “ Becky ” Sanders in 1962 . The couple lived in Aurora , Missouri where Eddie worked for the company , Midwest Map , where he ran a printing press . He continued
this work for more than 40 years .
Eddie ’ s greatest joy , his children , came into his life through adoption . His daughter Michelle Winzer , and husband , Doug , currently reside in Bolivar , Missouri . Eddie ’ s son , Christopher “ Chris ,” lives in Marionville , Missouri .
Eddie loves to joke and brings many smiles and laughter to all around him . We are blessed he is a part of our Butterfield family .
