Zonar’s Updated EVIR Confi guration
for Sanitization
Public transportation has become an even more crucial resource for people to get to where they need to be but some riders have
wondered about the cleanliness of their buses. To help transit fl eets ensure vehicles and equipment are properly sanitized regularly for
the safety of everyone onboard, Zonar has updated its patented Electronic Verifi ed Inspection Reporting (EVIR®) solution specifi cally for
ensuring the sanitation of metro buses.
The new confi guration for sanitation through EVIR allows transit
cleaning crews to verify that every step of the sanitation of metro
buses has taken place, as outlined by the American Public Transit
Association (APTA) standards of best practices. It also compliant
with Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP).
In addition, this confi guration can help transit organizations to
streamline their vehicle sanitation process for improved productivity
while prioritizing cleanliness of operations; digitize the records of
cleanings while eliminating a lengthy paper trail and make a major
task easier to manage; meet new Federal Transit Administration
requirements of documenting specifi c disinfectants used for
sanitation of vehicles; increase productivity by identifying the exact
areas and sanitation requirements of each zone; and set and
monitor expectations of how to sanitize areas and the duration of
each task.

EnviroFresh Plus by Thermo King
The EnviroFresh Plus Air Quality System provides customers with
an option to reduce the risk of contracting airborne contaminants
present in today’s environment. At this critical time we need all the
protection we can get to reduce the risk of contracting any airborne
or infectious contaminants that could compromise the immune
system. An already compromised immune system can have a
dramatic effect when a more serious viral infection is contracted.
The Dacron fi lter provides two layers of protection; the ability to
capture extremely small particles and high contaminant holding
capabilities within the fi lter.
The Thermo King EnviroFresh Plus Air Quality System is
available as an option on all new production units and can be
retrofi tted to existing Thermo King HVAC systems in any fl eet.
