CORPORATE INFORMATION
The Grenada Airports Authority( GAA) is a statutory corporation, established by the Parliament Act, CAP 12, Airports Authority Act, Revised Laws of Grenada of 1990.
The Authority is responsible for the management, control and supervision of the operation of the airports in Grenada and for promoting their use in the national interest.
GRENADA HAS THREE AIRPORTS
• Maurice Bishop International Airport( MBIA)-( Prefix: IATA – GND / ICAO – TGPY);
• Lauriston Airport-( Prefix: IATA – CRU / ICAO – TGPZ);
• Pearls Airport( Currently non-operational)-( Prefix: ICAO – TGPG).
GAA’ s head office is located at the Maurice Bishop International Airport( MBIA), Point Salines. All administrative and maintenance support to its facilities are directed from this location.

MAURICE BISHOP INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FACTS Location: Point Salines, St. George’ s, Grenada Prefix: IATA – GND / ICAO- TGPY Operating Hours: 6:00 am- 10:30 pm( 1000- 0230 UTC)( Additional hours on request). Time reference: UTC-4 Runway System: Consist of two runways( 10, 28) on one strip with both being LCN 86 asphalt surface. Equipped with airfield lighting systems for night operations. Length of 2743 metres and 45 metres wide. Elevation of 12 metres Reference points: Latitude 12 ° 00’ 15” / Longitude 61 ° 47’ 17” Designed to accommodate Boeing 747- 400.
AIR NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT INSTALLED AT MBIA INCLUDES

CRASH, FIRE AND RESCUE( CFR) The airport operates at a Category 9 status with marine rescue capacity.
FUEL FARM is operated by RUBIS West Indies Ltd. and provides for AV JET and AV Gas fuel.

AIR TERMINAL BUILDING Constitute the main building within the airport complex. The ATB has a total of 89,358 sq feet.
