CGM Gallagher Group ( CGM ) is the Caribbean ” s largest insurance brokers , handling over US $ 150 million in premiums , and provides five-star insurance services through its offices in Antigua , Barbados , Dominica , Grenada , Jamaica , St . Kitts and Nevis , St . Lucia , and St . Vincent . CGM is also licensed to provide insurance services in Anguilla , and has correspondents in Aruba , Bonaire , Curacao , Guyana , Haiti , Suriname , and Trinidad and Tobago .
The current CGM Group , employs over 160 people . The latest available annual report ( 2013 ) from CGM ’ s website states that revenue rose by approximately US $ 2.75 million from the $ 10.1 million earned in 2012 , which is a healthy increase of over 25 %, and that the net income ( post tax ) rose by almost 50 % from US $ 1.3 million to US $ 1.9 million . These figures clearly indicate why CGM is expanding and has continued to develop through 2015 .
CGM also operates CaribRM , which is the facility supervisor of an insurance partnership between CARICOM and the World Bank , constituting the world ’ s first multigovernment regional catastrophe insurance facility , known as the Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility .
The CGM Group comprises seven companies and specialises in the brokerage of different types of risk management , insurance , and reinsurance .
