Hott Wings by Eddie’s Bar & Grill became the first restaurant to
open at the Edmond Railyard.
GogiGo is a Korean fast casual concept that specializes in Korean
BBQ rice bowls and burritos. GogiGo first brought its fast-casual,
build-your-own meal concept to Midtown Oklahoma City in 2018
and brought its second location to Edmond.
Oak City Pizza Co. is Oklahoma-owned and -operated by two
families in Edmond that is now open, and features wood-fired pizza.
Cities Ice Cream, which is operated by the owners of Capitals,
is also open, along with BlueJ’s Rockin’ Grill, and Taqueria
El Camino.
The latest entry is 1884, a cocktail, wine and cigar lounge, by
the Community Through Beer Group, who started The Patriarch
in Edmond and Social Capital in Oklahoma City.
1884 will be a community hangout spot with a focus on craft
beer, but will have an extensive wine and cocktail menu, along with
a cigar lounge.
Anderson said they used their business connections and word of
mouth to get their building filled.
“We didn’t do any advertising,” he said. “This all came from
word of mouth or us just contacting restaurants directly.”
Anderson said the community has welcomed the
Edmond Railyard.
“Edmond needed this,” he said. “Until this, if you wanted
something like this you had to go to Oklahoma City. The
feedback from the community has been very positive.”
