Gardner to serve as 2020 Edmond Board of Realtors President BY TOM FINK | PHOTO PROVIDED C oming off the heels of being honored as Realtor of the Year, Jilian Gardner of ER A Court yard Real Estate will be heading into 2020 with another distinction: President of the Edmond Board of Realtors. “It was really great to be recognized (as Realtor of the Year) by my peers, to be paid tribute in that way,” she said. “Knowing they regard me so highly — even though in many cases, we’re competitors — is awesome. It’s great to know we’re retaining good relationships with one another, so much so that they selected me for this was quite an honor.”  As EBR President, Gardner will be at the head of an organization currently representing more than 900 Realtor members and 120 Affiliate Members who serve the Edmond and Logan Count y areas. “I am excited to have the opportunit y to lead the Edmond Board of Realtors into 2020,” Gardner said. “My theme for the year is ‘2020 — Perfecting the vision for the future while keeping the past in sight.’ Communit y involvement and giving has always been important to EBR. I plan to hone in on ways that we can be even more active within the Edmond communit y to serve and give back to those around us.  8 January 2020 | The Business Times “I want Edmond residents to know who we are as realtors and see the value that we provide on multiple different levels,” she said. “As the youngest president the board has had, I also hope to help build a Pathway to Leadership through a Leadership Academy that encourages younger Realtors to get involved in serving on the board and seeing the value it provides. “ The board itself provides resources to assist its members in becoming more professional and financially successful through elevating the standards of the real estate industry and professional conduct of its members. Gardner’s expertise, work ethic, and drive have earned her esteem amongst her clients and associates. From 2011 to 2018, she was a TOP Producer, and she closed the highest number of transactions, as well as having the highest volume sold during this time. In 2012, she was selected by The Edmond Sun as one of Edmond’s Top 20 Under 40 Young Professionals, and in 2017, she was awarded #1 ER A Agent in Customer Service. She is presently Oklahoma Association of Realtors State Director and chairs the Leaders of Tomorrow, a group of young real estate professionals from the Edmond Board of Realtors with the goal of having a successful career in the real estate industry, while networking and learning how to grow a strong business. She has been honored with ER A’s Leaders Circle 2015- 2018. One of Gardner’s biggest accomplishments with ER A came at the National ER A Convention in Las Vegas, where she was awarded with the Jim Jackson Award for being the number 1 Realtor in Customer Service out of more than 4,000 offices and 50 states. Additionally, she has been a Realtor Associate since 2006, earned the company-wide highest number of transactions closed for an individual from 2014-2017, and was named a World Class Realtor in 2014. In addition to her real estate endeavors, Gardner’s communit y involvement includes volunteering her free time to open a variet y of events, at which she sometimes sings the National Anthem. She also is on the Worship Team at Church of the Harvest, and she hosts luncheons and events for ELOT to develop new and 45 or younger agents in the real estate industry.
