Buying and Selling Edmond
T
o the Readers:
This is the time of the year for
the local real estate industry to pat
the backs of those who have gone above
and beyond.
Realtors gather to celebrate in their
annual association meetings representing
both Edmond and statewide interests.
Individuals who have represented the
industry well either through their
leadership or through their selfless giving
are formally recognized.
Edmond’s real estate market is full of
individuals making the industry and their
community better for others. We, at The
Business Times, take this time each year to
spotlight some of those who are making a
difference.
The Edmond Board of Realtors
recently honored several of its members
by bestowing awards upon them, and

EBR also had a passing of the gavel. In
November the Oklahoma Association of
Realtors held its 2019 REignite Conference
and Trade Show. Several Edmond realtors
were among honorees there. We have
stories on both of these events and more.
Other stories in this issue of The Business
Times include a look at a historical abstract
and title company serving our area, a glance
at Edmond’s keeper of real estate statistics,
and an inside view of the duties of a home
inspector.
The Edmond real estate market is full
of activity in both single-family homes and
commercial properties. There continues to
be growth in value and in amount of home

industry and for the people of Edmond.
