(OMMA). The OMMA was established to oversee the medical
marijuana program for the State of Oklahoma. It is responsible
for licensing, regulating, and administering the program as
authorized by state law. Operating under the Oklahoma State
Department of Health, the primary goal is to ensure safe and
responsible practices for the people of Oklahoma.
Doolittle said she was surprised to see how quickly the
industry has grown.
“I am surprised at how fast it went up, but I also know there
was a major medical need in Oklahoma,” she said.
Doolittle said they opened their Edmond store last August.
“We thought it was a great location, in the heart of Edmond,
on Broadway Extension,” she said. “We purchased the building
and completely renovated it. We are invested in the Edmond
community and plan on being here for a long time. We are very
proud of our Edmond store.”
Doolittle said they have gotten great feedback from people
who have wanted relief, and are able to treat a number of
different conditions.
“There is a lot of excitement about it,” she said. “We are
really excited about the future here. The Edmond community
has been very welcoming to us.”
