The Virtual Run is another unique selling point for the app, inspired by an LSN
global trend the users will be amazed with this feature,
The virtual run will take place in a number of different areas around the country, four times a year. Caroline Lucey (the CEO of Active in Style) and Amelia
Shaw (Head of the Active app) will choose 4 locations outside of London.
This feature for the app is to encourage women to spend a day together,
where they can be active in a new and exciting way to be active.
The user will be told the location for the start of the run; they can then follow a
map showing the final destination. When completed. a ‘pop up’ will appear on
the screen and inform the user that she is now able to access the online store
and use her unique discount code.
The remaining distance will be shown throughout the run as well as having
motivational words come through the users headphones (this can be muted)
A well-done image will also appear on the screen with the amount of active
points they have received.
