Who founded the company, why and what’s happening today
Active in Style Is an active wear company that stocks active wear for
women from around the world. The active app is a new app created for Active in Style to bring women together to form a community, empowering
them to live a healthier and more active lifestyle.
Caroline Lucey founded active in Style, in January 2013 after returning
from living in Australia, Caroline noticed a gap in the market for women’s
stylish active wear. Caroline began importing Australia’s active wear company Lorna Jane, selling it through gyms and truck shows, which then lead
onto importing other unique active wear brands like Lorna Jane (Active in
Style, 2015)
Caroline launched the Active in Style website hosting a variety of different
active wear brands from all around the world, such as Sweden, Australia
and America. After the success of a pop up shop in Aug 2015, Caroline decided to open Active in Style first concept store in November 2015. This
store os a destination for Active in Style consumers to come and try the
product on before trying as well as receiving style advice from girls that
knew the product more than anyone.
