Events STATE OF THE COUNTY UPDATE • STATE OF THE CITY SAVE THE DATE STATE OF THE CO U N T Y T he United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce’s annual ‘State of the County’ address has been postponed from February 14, 2018, to a lat- er, yet to be determined date due to Nueces County Judge Loyd Neal’s recent battle with pneumonia. Judge Neal stated, “I am very much looking forward to the ‘2018 State of the County’ address as we have already been working on the content of my presentation for some time now. My recent bout with pneumonia has set me back a bit, so moving the ‘State of the County’ to a later date will assure my complete recovery and a performance worthy of the attendees. Thank you for your patience.” The Chamber will directly inform all event sponsors, table/ ticket holders and chamber members as soon as additional information on the resched- uling of this event is available. Any questions regarding the event may be directed to Gargi Bhowal, Director of Events & Special Programs for the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce, at (361) 881-1800 or by email to [email protected]. “We wish Judge Neal a swift and complete recovery,” said Cleo Rodriguez, Jr., United Corpus Christi Chamber President & CEO. “Upon his return to health, we look forward to hearing his message of priorities and progress as we collaborate to move our city forward.” 11 BUSINESS MATTERS FEBRUARY 2018
