The Center Economic Development Corporation wants to help you fulfill your business needs.
Business Incentives
The EMERGE program will
reimburse participants on a
quarterly basis depending upon job
creation/retention targets.
The total award and schedule is
dependent upon the merits of each
application.
The City of Center offers a wide spectrum of incentive opportunities
to qualifying businesses and investments. Please reference the
City’s economic development policy document for additional
information. Each of these incentives are to be judged on a case-by-
case basis within the policy guidelines and goals of the Center City
Council and Economic Development Corporation.
To qualify for incentive funding through the Center EDC, a thorough
review of a company’s business plan and financial information will
be conducted. The amount of incentive funds, if any, will be based
on the number, type, and average wage of full time primary jobs.

•Tax Increment Financing
•Workforce Training
•Additional incentive plans available
The INNOVA program seeks to
assist those businesses who wish to
enhance the physical appearance
of their building or rennovate an
underutilized building.
All businesses who are Downtown or
in a Commercial or Industrial zone
are eligible to apply.
The Center EDC will reimburse
50% of a project cost up to a
dollar amount once the project is
complete.
