So does unraveling the mysteries of the Universe, cooking up healthy vegan dishes, taking long walks with her husband Sam and dog Flex, and visiting libraries around the world. is your hero ? 01 Who (In business, life or both) My heroes and role models are many. I find that every woman that follows her calling and goes after what she desires or believes in is incredibly inspiring. As such I have many heroes in my life. The women I work with, clients, partners, mentors, and business friends. A woman that stands up for herself and builds her dreams into reality, there’s really nothing better than that. If I had to choose a well known person I’d say I’ve been most influenced by women such as Madonna, Frida Kahlo, Coco Chanel, Maya Angelou. More recently I’ve been inspired by women who continue to be powerful changemakers like Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Sheryl Sandberg, and Michelle Obama. An array of very different women, but with a common denominator: using their voice for change. Something I think we should all do. Photographer: Wendy K.
