[ 1 ] Moy Park has appointed Andrew Richards to the post of Commercial Director UK & Ireland and as a member of its executive leadership team. With an extensive commercial track record, Andrew has worked with many of Europe ' s market and category leading FMCG companies across confectionery( Cadbury / Kraft), savoury snacks( PepsiCo UK), soft drinks( Britvic PLC) and latterly coffee( UCC). In this new role with Moy Park, Andrew will lead the company’ s commercial strategy for the UK and Ireland including Moy Park’ s extensive UK and Ireland insight, marketing, food innovation and commercial functions.
[ 2 ] Simon Cunningham has been appointed Client Executive at Lighthouse Communications. With over 10 years’ experience in the media industry, Simon was most recently business correspondent at the Irish News. At Lighthouse, he will assist in the creation and implementation of marketleading PR and communications strategies across the agency’ s clients, including Belfast City Airport, the Institute of Directors, Grant Thornton and Arthur Cox.

[ 3 ] Katherine Dawson has been appinted Marketing Executive by Wilsons Auctions. Following the expansion of the Marketing team due to considerable business growth across the group, Katherine has been appointed Marketing Executive to offer her expertise in the promotion of all activity across the Telford, Queensferry, Dalry and Newcastle­Upon­Tyne branches.
[ 4 ] Grant Thornton Northern Ireland has appointed Bronagh Bourke as Audit Director. Her role will include managing a broad spectrum of growing entrepreneurial clients in corporate audit throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom, in sectors including pharmaceutical, retail, manufacturing, flour milling and IT. Bronagh has 15 years’ audit experience of working with large, privatelyheld businesses and is a member of the Chartered Accountants Ireland.
[ 5 ] ­Grant Thornton Northern Ireland has appointed Maeve Hunt as Associate Director. Her role will involve managing a wide portfolio of SMEs and large corporate bodies across numerous industry sectors, including manufacturing, property and retail. Maeve has 10 years’ experience in the audit and assurance industry and is a member of the Chartered Accountants Ireland.
[ 6 ] Hastings Hotels has announced the appointment of Eoin O’ Sullivan as the new General Manager of the 5­star Culloden Estate
& Spa. With over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, Eoin has spent the majority of his career in management roles of five star properties including The Westbury in New York and London, Dromoland Castle in Co Clare and held the position of group general manager of Unna Luxury Resorts and Residences in Barbados.
[ 7 ] Dr Scott King has been appointed Strategic Partnership Manager at Newtownards advanced engineering firm CCP Gransden. He has over 15 years’ experience in the advanced engineering sector. His role will be to develop and grow CCP Gransden’ s advanced composites capability through collaborations and R & D with like­minded companies. He has an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering and PhD in Advanced Composites from Ulster University. He is a chartered engineer, Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and Member of the Institute of Directors.
[ 8 ] Paul Lawther has joined Onecom as head of mobile sales for Northern Ireland as the company opens its first office in
Northern Ireland. Paul has an extensive background in the communications industry including 4 years leading the UK and Ireland mobile division for a local provider. He also held a number of roles in the industry including business development and account management prior to joining Onecom..
[ 9 ] Paul Murnaghan has been appointed as Regional Director of BT Business in Northern Ireland. With over 12 years of experience working in the leading communications company and extensive experience within the IT sector, in his new role Paul will lead an integrated organisation serving a full range of solutions from mobile and fixed IT and telecommunications through to systems integration and digital transformational needs for both public and private sector customers across Northern Ireland.
