ON THE MOVE Business First celebrates your success [1] Cara Taylor has been annaounced as Business Growth Enabler, Southern region, Ulster Bank . As a Business Growth Enabler for Ulster Bank, Cara is responsible for developing SMEs and providing expert business advice to start­ups. She is heavily involved with the bank’s Boost initiative, organising networking events and information seminars to local businesses across the region. [2] Lisa McCaul has been announced as Business Growth Enabler, North region, Ulster Bank. Previous to this role, Lisa spent two years as Business Executive to Ulster Bank’s Head of Business Banking NI, three years as a lending specialist and a further nine years in portfolio management with Ulster Bank. She is actively involved in both the RBS Women’s Network and Entrepreneurial Spark. [3] Áine Hughes is to be Associate, Restructuring & Insolvency at A&L Goodbody. Áine specialises in providing advice to insolvency practitioners and financial institutions in Northern Ireland on both contentious and non­contentious matters. Áine's work includes acting in the appointment of fixed charge receivers or administrators and the preparation and negotiation of settlement agreements. Áine regularly appears before the High Court in Northern Ireland to attend to matters such as bankruptcy and winding up applications, actions for possession of land and contentious summons/writ actions. [4] Jonathan Hacking is Associate, Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate at A&L Goodbody with responsibility for advising clients on a wide variety of commercial agreements. Jonathan specialises in commercial law, technology, IP matters, data protection and cyber security. Jonathan trained and qualified in London in 2009 before joining A&L Goodbody Belfast in September 2015. [5] Jago, has added to its senior team with the appointment of Kate Ferguson as Communications Director. Kate brings more than 15 years’ experience of PR and marketing communications, spanning both in­house and agency in London and Northern Ireland. She has directed and managed PR and communications activity for companies varying from global brands to local start­ups. Kate will bring strong creative insight, media relations and strategy development experience to the team along with first class communications skills to the practice with clients in the consumer and corporate sectors. She has previously worked in business development, human resources and operations management. Miriam established and managed a large New York based start­up’s UK headquarters in Belfast, growing her team to over 50 engineers, support and development staff in four years. She is a highly motivated and driven individual with strong knowledge of the IT start­up sector in Northern Ireland. work across the agency’s growing consumer and corporate client portfolio. She brings three years of professional PR and Communications experience to her new role, having worked across a variety of high profile consumer clients as part of the consumer team in a Belfast PR agency, as well as in­house as the PR & Comms manager for a Northern Irish FMCG company. Sarah is an active member of both CIPR and the PRCA. [7] Dana McCusker has been appointed to the role of Director at LK Communications. Dana, whose career in PR, Marketing and Business Development spans some seventeen years, joins the company from award­winning hospitality group, Genesis Pubs Ltd, of which she was Marketing and Business Development Director. She is a former director of one of Northern Irealnd’s largest PR agencies, where she led multiple high­profile consumer, corporate and public affairs accounts across the public and private sectors. [9] Modern Office Supplies has appointed Rory McCurry Managing Director. Rory will bring his experience to MOS to drive the image and reputation of the company within Northern Ireland. A key aim is to make clients aware of the range of services offered by MOS and to ensure the company maintains its stellar reputation for the highest level of customer service. Track Record: Rory spent his previous working life in corporate communications with Lanyon Communications. [8] LK Communications has appointed Sarah Fox to the role of Account Manager to
