Will you be successful?
Success has to be measured across all of the different facets of your life. Sometimes, you
may have to trade off one facet in the short term for a longer term gain, however at the end
of the day, success will only be yours if you succeed in all the areas of your life that are
important to you.
Nerve is required when running a business, purely because you never know what is around
the corner. You have taken a risk by going into business; you need to keep your nerve no
matter what unpleasant surprises show up.
A good way to do that is to visualise yourself as a success.
You also need energy when running a business and energy isn’t always forthcoming. So use
any of the energy-boosting tips given to push your energy levels up.
Commitment needs to be made to any business, but before you commit, you need to be
sure that you have considered the impact on all the different areas of your life that are
important to you. Trade-offs can be made, but only on a temporary basis, otherwise your
commitment to business will overshadow your other commitments, and your balance will
be off.
And finally, confidence needs to be displayed by any business owner, whether you are
feeling it or not.
At the beginning of the book, I told you I would provide you with a few ideas on how to
achieve success on your own terms. I hope by reading the book, you have been able to
identify what success looks like to you, and how you can use a few little ‘mind’ techniques
to improve your level of success.
If you have enjoyed this book, I’d love it if you could recommend it to your friends and
family. Authors thrive on recognition, so the more people who have read my books and
commented on them, the more alive I feel. It’s a bit like clapping your hands to keep the
fairies alive.
Finally, I’d like to sincerely thank you for taking the time to read my words. I am grateful for
the gift of your time, and I hope you have found it as enjoyable and interesting to read as I
did to write.
