Foundation Golf Outing
The Legacy Golf Club
Sunday, May 16 • 6:30am–2:30pm
$130 per person (includes transportation, greens fee & lunch)
Designed by acclaimed golf course
architect Arthur Hills, the Legacy
Golf Club is an 18-hole, desert jewel
highlighted by manicured playing
conditions, multi-tiered fairways and
large undulating greens. Stretching
7,233 yards from the professional
tees, this memorable layout is a strong
challenge for the scratch player, yet
also accommodates the novice with
well-spaced tee boxes and generous landing areas. The Legacy may
be the most recognizable in all of
Las Vegas. Each tee box is in the
shape of playing cards suits: Hearts,
Diamonds, Clubs and Spades. Also notorious at this premier facility is
the “Devil’s Triangle,” where three holes make a devilish trio of exciting
challenges. The Legacy has become synonymous in Las Vegas for
providing country club-style services and amenities. In fact, the Legacy
Golf Club was selected as one of the “Top 10 Courses You Can Play”
in Nevada by Golf Digest. The Outing fee covers transportation to
the course, greens fee and a casual lunch. Proceeds from this event
benefit the NACM Scholarship Foundation, which provides financial
assistance to credit professionals.
GSCFM alumni and NACM designees invite everyone to join them at
the Rio Bowling Alley, conveniently located on the main floor of the Rio
Hotel. Strike up a conversation with new acquaintances or spare a few
minutes to catch up with old colleagues as you hit the lanes to bowl a
few frames and enjoy a smorgasbord of casual fare.
Red Rock Canyon Tour
Monday, May 17 • 8:00am–Noon
$130 per person
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, only minutes from the Strip, has
scenery so dramatic it’s often selected as the
backdrop for movies and commercials. Along
the 13-mile scenic drive you’ll view the impressive Wilson Cliffs, part of
the 65-million-year-old Keystone Thrust. Numerous geological features
abound, including the fossilized sand dunes of the brilliantly colored
Calico Hills. A brief stop at the visitor center includes fascinating exhibits, a desert tortoise habitat and gift shop. A bonus to this tour is the
off-road adventure up Rocky Gap Road. Beautiful desert wildflowers,
ancient Native American pictographs and diverse vegetation make this
tour one you’ll never forget!
Haunted Las Vegas Night Tour
Tuesday, May 18 • 9:30pm–Midnight
$89 per person
The spirited and spooky Haunted Vegas Tour will
take you to the haunting grounds of Bugsy Siegel, Redd Foxx and Elvis. Robert Allen, creator
of the tour, now makes it possible to visit eerie sites by offering a
guided Haunted Vegas Tour and Show, featuring Sin City’s darkest
ghostly secrets. Additionally, experience the supernatural at the
Las Vegas Séance that provides a spine tingling look into the dark
and mysterious side of the afterlife. According to Allen, who consulted with Tim Cridland, a paranormal historian, and Janice Oberding,
author of the book Haunted Nevada, there are more than 21 places
where paranormal activity has been documented in Las Vegas. The
Haunted Vegas Tour covers such sites as the “Motel of Death,” where
numerous celebrity deaths have occurred, and the former home of a
Las Vegas legend whose ghost continues to haunt despite numerous
attempts to exorcise it.
The NACM Scholarship Foundation is delighted to
again host its Silent Auction to be held during the Credit
