Smart cities across the world face the challenge of providing seamless connectivity for a wide range of devices - particularly those of a mission-critical nature on which lives may depend . With constantly growing urban populations , Asian countries need to ensure that any long term strategy takes into account the transformative power that connected development can unleash .
