Don’t Waste the Milk
Adding ½TBSP of baking soda to a gallon, or a pinch of salt to a quart of milk will keep it fresh for a week or
so past its expiration date. This reduces acidity in milk and retards spoilage. However, leaving milk at room
temperature for more than 30 or 40 minutes will reduce its life span.
