A new Station Two is being built at 250 E . Hidden Creek Parkway , near the intersection of East Hidden Creek Parkway and South Dobson St .
“ Station 2 will be located off of Hidden Creek Parkway with quick access to Interstate I-35W while providing strategic access to major roadways for maximum efficiency in our response ,” Fire Chief K . T . Freeman said . “ With the growth of the city , the current location of Station 2 is hindering response capabilities to the city ’ s southern border , HighPoint Business Park and Hidden Vistas subdivision , as well as future residential development that will be located on County Road 714 .”
The station should be completed sometime this year .
Station Three , built in 2009 , is at 245 Lakewood Drive in the western area of Burleson . It is the newest station of the department and houses Engine 3 and a brush truck .
