Biosecurity |
Biosecurity Act 2014 |
Deals with pests, diseases and contaminants. It provides a risk-based and less prescriptive approach to biosecurity in Qld. It introduces general biosecurity responsibilities for the public, property owners and agricultural industry bodies. Local governments are also required to develop a pest management plan, under the Land Protection( Pest and Stock Route Management) Act 2002( Qld). |
