BullShooter 2023-2024 Regional Tour
PITTSBURGH , PA - February 2-4 , 2024
With only two more stops on the BS 38 Regional Tour , the second to the last stop was in Pennsylvania at the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh Green Tree Hotel on February 2-4 . The Regional was co-sponsored by Betson Pittsburgh Distributing . Players came from West Virginia , Ohio , Texas , Michigan , Missouri , Wisconsin , Florida , New York and Canada to compete in the Qualifier over the weekend . The big winner over the weekend was Michael Porterfield with four championship wins . In the Pro events , Michael Porterfield won Pro Cricket Singles on Friday night . He then went on to win Pro / AM Cricket with partner Tyler Little on Saturday . Michael and Tyler then took home a victory win in Mixed Triples 701 with partner Jennifer Thompson after defeating Jules Van Dongen , Jason Leonard and Tina Zekas on Saturday night . And rounding out the weekend , Michael teamed up with Sidney Vaughn and won the championship in Pro Men ’ s Doubles 501 . In the Women ’ s events , Trish Grzesik won Women ’ s Singles Combo . Trish then partnered up with Kalika Criss and took home the title and prize money in both Women ’ s Doubles 301 and Women ’ s Doubles Combo . In the Men ’ s events , Samuel Vanderpool secured the championship win in Men ’ s Cricket Singles after defeating Tyler Little . Not giving up , Tyler went on to win Men ’ s Doubles 501 with Gary Kidd . Andy Runkle and Thomas Haag pulled out first place honors in Men ’ s Cricket Doubles on Saturday after defeating Larry Winger and Cody Confer . In the Mixed Cricket Doubles event on Sunday , Sidney Vaughn and Stacy Shelton ran circles around the opposition and won first place honors .
