The BS 38 Regional Tour continued on with a stop in Texas at the Sheraton North Houston @ George Bush Intercontinental Hotel on January 5-7 . The Regional was co-sponsored by AVS Companies . Players came from Mississippi , Oklahoma , Missouri , Louisiana and Ohio to compete in the Qualifier over the weekend . The big winner over the weekend was Leonard Gates with three championship wins . In the Pro events , Leonard Gates won Pro Cricket Singles on Friday night . He then went on to win Pro / AM Cricket with partner Joey Hinrichs on Saturday and then closed out the weekend with a victory win in Mixed Cricket Doubles with Virginia Higgins after defeating Johnny Lackey and Laine Lyzak on Sunday . Partners Derek Hinkle and Johnny Lackey took first prize in Pro Men ’ s Doubles 501 . In the Women ’ s events , Kristy Davis and Cheyenne Richards took home the title and prize money in both Women ’ s Doubles 301 and Women ’ s Doubles Combo . Laine Lyzak came out ahead in Women ’ s Singles Combo after defeating Kristy Davis for first place honors . In the Men ’ s events , Joshua Ancar secured the championship win in Men ’ s Cricket Singles . Michael Alegria and Evaristo Lopez took the crown in Men ’ s Doubles 501 on Sunday after defeating Mark Bond and Christopher Citizen . In Men ’ s Cricket Doubles , Brock Garza and Nick Oliva gained the victory in Men ’ s Cricket Doubles . In the Mixed events , Donnie Ramcharan , Kristina Rodriguez and Justin Duke took first place honours in Mixed Triples 701 on Saturday night .
