The 2022-2023 BullShooter Tour stopped on December 2-4 in San Diego , CA , at the Sheraton Mission Valley San Diego Hotel . The Regional was co-sponsored by Betson West .

Players came from Arizona , Texas , Nevada , Wisconsin and Idaho to compete in the $ 12,000 qualifier . Different from other Qualifiers , the California Regional was divided into multiple levels across 4 main events : Doubles 501 ( in 3 levels ), Singles Combo ( in 4 levels ), Mixed Triples ( in 2 levels ) and Cricket Doubles ( in 3 levels ). All events were co-ed and strictly by average . Players start from a leveled playing field where they are separated based on league stats which places them in their relative qualifications category . This promotes fair play in regions where our standard tournament format may not be most beneficial . The weekend started with a HI / LO Blind Draw on Friday night and Saturday started bright and early with 501 Doubles . Samuel Samson , from Buena Park , CA , was the top winner over the weekend taking home two championships . Samuel won 501 Doubles - Lvl 2 with Wilmar Benoya and Singles Combo - Lvl 4 .
