PINK LADIES STATE DART TOURNAMENT
The Pink Ladies State Dart Tournament was started 11 years ago with honor and love and continue to support with dedication and compassion . This years tournament was held at the Dacotah Bank Center , formally known as the Swiftel Center Brookings , in Brookings , SD , on October 6-8 , 2023 .
731 women , from South Dakota , North Dakota , Minnesota , Nebraska , Iowa and Winnipeg Canada , participated in the annual tournament . There were 57 G3 dartboards supplied by Arachnid 360 and they sure were busy over the weekend !
Three women : Tara Beckers , Heather Walsh and Shirley Soukup , were inducted into the Pink Ladies Hall Of Fame . Congratulations ladies !
There were multiple winners throughout the tournament , who had the chance to win some fantastic prizes , such as a 36 ” Blackstone Griddle , 65 ” TV and an entire table filled with women ’ s essentials such as blankets , nail polish / files , dryers , teddy bears and much more !
On a beautiful sunny day all the Pink Ladies formed the word “ PINK ” in the parking lot and the Dakota Aerials took a lasting picture .
Zander a 5 year old boy , from Brookings , was here with his family and received a lot of the Pink Ladies love ! In February 2023 , he was diagnosed with Wilms , he had a tumor and kidney removed and is undergoing chemo . The family left for home in a pickup truck which was loaded with toys , a bag of gift cards and more love than anyone could imagine .
I am honored to be a part of the largest Pink Ladies Tournament in the Universe .
