Collinsville, Illinois Darts For Kids Raises Another $30,000! Darts For Kids was held September 29, 2018 at Madison County Fireman’s Hall in Collinsville, IL. Where do I begin? I’ll start with let- ting you know our turnout was one of the best yet. There were 99 Men’s B teams, 49 Women’s teams and over 30 A teams. Wow, over $50,000 raised so far this year and $30,000 raised at the event by all you amazing people! Thanks to Action Amusement, Arachnid, and Sam Zammuto for all you do for Darts for Kids. Thanks to Kenny Windsor for everything you do, our set up crew Josh Hargis and Kenny Windsor, and Action crew Shana Weitzel and Bill Shollenberger. Thanks to our amazing crew that worked so hard that day: Shana, Kate Hudzik, Nikki Cox, Johnny Cox, Colin Mussatto, Cheryl Bourland Antoine, Helen Windsor, Kendall Brignole Mueller, Corey Martin, Nicole Mullens, and Don Adcock. Thank you to Barbara Rowell and Danny for running the Bar Olympics. Thank you to my daughter, Kate, who ran the youth event yesterday. The kids had a great time. The brackets were ran perfectly as always so hats off to Terri and Kari Stevenson, and Chris McCowan. Thanks to Ken McCowan for setting up the dart supplies. Thank you to Fema’s Catering for bringing in the meal and to the Madison County Fireman’s Hall and crew for hosting. Thanks to everyone who donated to the silent auction, it was amazing. A special thanks to Jeff Hall for the liquor cabinet, Michael Walters for stocking it, and Kevin Huber our fabulous DJ that donated his time. What can I say about all you amaz- ing dart players except THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. The families you are helping are simply amazing and I know they are all so appreciative of what you guys do. Who would have ever thought that seven years ago in a small bowling alley in Litchfield with 80 dart play- ers raising almost $10,000 that today we would have 400 dart players and friends raising $50,000. I love all of you and can never thank all of you for everything you do and for your support.
