Arachnid was saddened to hear that Stacy Bromberg recently passed away. Stacy was an accomplished dart player--probably the best woman player of her time with a fighting spirit that set her apart. She was listed as # 32 in a Sports Illustrated list of all-time sports greats from Nevada, which is an incredible achievement in the sport of darts. She played many BullShooter Tournaments and was Women’ s MVP player four years. She contributed to a lot of charities., especially her favorite, Make-A-Wish Foundtion. Arachnid, and all it’ s employees that knew Stacy, express our deepest sympathy to all her friends and family.
Hello Darters,
I’ m very saddened to report that Stacy Bromberg passed away. I knew Stacy for most of my time playing darts, and spent time with her at tournaments( of course there were a lot of people that knew her and were friends of hers). She was a character, by any good description, and outspoken as a matter of fact. One of the things I really liked about Stacy was her dedication to charities and helping people. Please take a look at her website to see her many accomplishments and things she was involved in http:// stacy. homestead. com / home. html.

I remember many years ago going to a Las Vegas bar( Duffy’ s III) to practice. There were 10 boards lined up on one wall, in a side room they had setup for darts. As I practiced, I was looking at the back wall and saw that most of the trophies and plaques were Stacy’ s( a sea of them). I explained this to friends of hers and they told me the same was true in other bars in Las Vegas and LA. What an accomplished person … wow.
Sorrowfully, Charles Bradish
