Mixed Triples
Mixed Triples was the last event on Sunday evening. The event was
two out of three games in the winner’s bracket and one game in the
loser’s bracket.
Coming from the loser’s side, Jacob Schreiber, Abby Spott and Mike
Rydeen met the undefeated team of Jennifer Faas, Ryan Larscheidt and
Mike Piloczewski in the Bull Pen. Jacob, Abby and Mike captured the
first two games to tie things up and take the match to a tie-breaker. The
first game was won by Jennifer, Ryan and Mike, but Jacob, Abby and
Mike came back to win the second and tie-breaker third game to claim
the Mixed Triples title and take home the money. Third place was won
by Don Gunville, Jr., Misty Bruguier and Don Gunville, Sr. and Jason
Kent, Sofia Pulido and Tory Corona won fourth place.
