Luck of the Draw Cricket
A Luck of The Draw Cricket was held
at 2 p.m. on Saturday with 100% pay-
back plus $250 added. The event was
single elimination. Larry Twyman
and Ray Terronez were drawn as
partners and they defeated Larry
Ennis and Terry Phillips leaving
them a third place tie. Russ Shields
and Jason Pesalvet played and defeat-
ed Big Mike and Johnny leaving them
a third place tie. Then it was Russ
Shields and Jason Pesalvent playing
Larry Twyman and Ray Terronez in
the finals with Larry and Ray pre-
vailing and taking the first place win.
Mixed Cricket
Mixed Cricket was the last event on Saturday night. The event was for
non-pro men and was open to all women players so the men took advantage
of being able to shoot with the top women players. It was a two out of three
match in the winner’s bracket and one game in the loser’s bracket.
In the last two undefeated match, Gary Kieper and Liz Tynan sent Paula
Murphy and Jim Nolte to the loser’s side. Paula and Jim defeated the
team of Kelly Meares and Brett Davis for third place and went to the Bull
Pen to once again play Gary and Liz for the championship. Gary and Liz
continued their good darts and defeated Paula and Jim leaving them sec-
ond place and taking the first place check and trophies.
