In the Women’s A 501
Doubles event, Geri
Stein
and
Marlene
Gannon went through
the winner’s bracket
to the championship
match to play Renelle
Shepherd and Shayna Gray. In a two out of three match, Geri and Marlene
won the first game, Renelle and Shayna won the second game and the tie-
breaker third game was won by Geri and Marlene in the Bull Pen for the first
place title.
Brandi Lehmkuhl and Kaylee Kuchinski won third place honors and Misty
Bruguier and Nicole Kolhoff captured fourth place

301 Doubles
Coming from the loser’s side, Robin Womble and Crystal De Vries played
the undeated team of Shelby Krueger and Kristi Kovach in the Bull Pen.
Robin and Crystal won the first two games to tie it up. In the second set
Shelby and Kristi won the first game and Robin and Crystal won the second
to take it to a tie-breaker. Robin and Crystal captured the game and won
the Women’s B championship with Shelby and Kristi taking a respectable
second.
Rhonda Mader and Ashley Zenner won third place honors with Mary
Brand and Coral Spicer capturing fourth place.
