and owned by Steve “Magic” Wand. He has owned the bar
for 20 years. Rich and Junnie’s is the dart Operator.

Hammerhead’s is a huge supporter of the dart world. Magic
runs leagues all year round with dart league play on Sun-
day’s, Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s. He also has
a Saturday tournament the second Saturday of every month.
Magic pays for the sponsorship of his teams in vari-
ous leagues as well as individual entry fees for play-
ers in tournaments all over the area, including the
Tournament of Champions (TOC). At least a dozen
of his players shoot darts in the TOC every year.
Whenever you are in the great city of Dubuque,
stop in at Hammerhead’s Bar & Billiards for a
friendly game of darts and a beer during “Happy
Hours” with the local players.
