BROOKINGS , SOUTH DAKOTA
On Oct . 8th , 9th , and 10th , The Swiftel Center in Brookings , SD hosted the SD Pink Ladies State Dart Tournament . There was 136 teams from all over SD , some from ND and NE , with 569 women competing for titles in 7 Divisions playing on fresh Arachnid 360 G3 dart boards .
The weekend was action packed with Sara Pearson , Denise Brooks and Randy Oliver being inducted into the Pink Ladies Hall Of Fame . A Watertown woman won the heads or tails prizes donated by D & E . There was a presentation to Lincoln , a 2 year old little boy from Sioux Falls , SD who is fighting cancer for the second time . The Pink Ladies overloaded Lincoln along with his brother and sister with gifts and his parents received monetary gifts to help with the tsunami of paperwork they have to manage . Pink Ladies upheld their slogans “ No One Fights Alone ” and “ We ’ re In This Together ”. Rachel Kamuda , from the NDA office , attended the tournament to witness what Pink Ladies are all about , her definition after Lincoln ’ s presentation was : “ the compassion and support the Pink Ladies show brings tears to your eyes , not only is the tournament a fun and uplifting event , it makes you feel like you have helped and accomplished something other than just running a tournament .” The NDA President , Preston Obrigewitsch , also attended , he was amazed with the energy the tournament had , “ they are all happy playing darts , greeting other players with smiles and

hugs ”. Dickinson , ND will be perfect with their Pink League this fall .
After the tournament has reached completion , FB was filled with pictures and comments about the tournament , everyone including the tournament administration , is happy and exhausted . Another year is in the books and preparation for next year has been started , 2022 will be the Pink Ladies 10th year anniversary , we are expecting more teams and big surprises !
