The tournament is unique because skill levels range from beginners to masters. All participants are classified into levels according to their individual or team’s skill rating. “We’re very excited about the opportunity to offer everyone a chance to experience all of Team Dart with a six day competition schedule instead of nine,” said Alvin Gerlach, President of the NDA. “This shortened schedule was asked for by operators and players and means less money out of poket for travel expenses and more opportunities to play in additional events and win. We hope to see everyone in Vegas next year as we roll out this exciting change.” Weight of Darts Increased! Following discussion at the annual membership meeting, AMOANational Dart Association members have approved an increase in dart gram weight from 18 to 20 grams. As of June 1, 2015, NDA-sanctioned players are able to use 20 gram darts in all NDA Regional, Junior and International Tournaments. This change applies to all NDA Tournaments. Operators may still determine what weight of darts may be used for local league play and local tournaments. Players should also check the regulations of their state tournament. 17 Outstanding Players Named to Team USA 2016 The NDA would like to congratulate the following individuals for their exemplary performance at Team Dart 2015.
