What is your vision of the Chilean Youth??

"Diverse. Because sometimes you tend to say that Youth is "that's the way it is", there is everything. It is generally spoken of the Youth as the drug addicts, the Rebels, there is everything, there are children who go to the Church, there are super studious people ... There is everything. Now, it seems that there is a tendency to Irresponsibility nowadays in general; not to assume their responsibilities whatever, in the studies, with the family, a little of that Generation that departed with the "Chino" Rios with the "¡No estoy ni ahí!", that phrase was like the Reflection of the Youth of that Era that was called the Generation of "¡No estoy ni ahí!", that is, nothing mattered, and a large number of young people is like that, very individualistic, does not care about the rest, as before there were causes that moved the Youth, there are still some today but I get the impression that they are less. Education, Health ... With Education we have seen them go out to the street ... but also uninformed; Suddenly they asked them why they came out and they answered "No, because everyone did it", then I say What is the Sense then? If I go out, it's because ... I know why I go out to the street. light young people today, run away from the study, their responsibilities.

I believe that technological devices motivate Individualism, not only to Young people but also to Adults, the Typical "Smartphone" that has everything and people live "Stuck" on the phone, live in a Virtual world more than in a world Real, for example, they are at a table together and they are conversing with another person instead of conversing with the person at the table, and in the classroom ... Ugh, what to talk about, instead of being worried about the class , they're on the phone ... anywhere but there."

What is your vision of the future of education?

"I want to think that it is going for Better, having approved the idea of Legislation of this Law in Education, the work that is going to be done in Parliament, will enrich the Project ... we will have something better than what we have today, I do not know If it's going to be much better ... I ... I do not think, it gives the impression that when there are opportunities to improve qualitatively and quantitatively, something always happens ... it slows down and is not what you expected, I hope I'm wrong, it's a lot better of how we are today, I have my apprehensions."

Thus ended the interview to Víctor Morales, making clear their expectations about the future of education, always expecting the best and having confidence in the progress of this.
