Covenant House , New Orleans This weekend , March 11 / 12 , you are asked to bring toiletries ( including feminine products ) and beauty supplies . Additionally , a fun item to donate that the youth always enjoy are journals .
Food Drive Bring non-perishable food items to Church next weekend , March 18 / 19 . The food is distributed to the poor through Our Lady of Divine Providence Church , Metairie .

Prayer Partners – You are invited to pick the name of one of the candidates preparing for First Eucharist , Confirmation , or Full Communion into the Church ( RCIA ). You are asked to support them through your prayers at this time of immediate preparation .
Lenten Spiritual Reading – Pamphlets on some spiritual topics are available at nominal cost at church entrances . Donations can be placed in the poor box .

Come join the married couples for an evening of enrichment that will prove to be enlightening and insightful in developing a healthier and holier marriage .
A strong marriage is one in which both spouses realize that the commitment they have made is not only with each other but also with God . It requires that each spouse be willing to make the necessary changes in order to more fully love the other person . All marriages face difficulties , but a marriage built with Jesus as its foundation can withstand the storms of life . Each day offers a new beginning and an opportunity to build the marriage that you want to have .
COST : $ 15.00 per couple
Pre -Registration Preferred – Please see the flyer on tables at church entrances . Arthur and Shirley Dupre are natives of New Orleans and lifelong Catholics . They have been married for 37 years and have 11 children and 14 grandchildren . They have hosted one-on-one marriage preparation for 12 years . Arthur is an attorney and Shirley is a homemaker .
Lenten Evenings of Confession
On Wednesdays , March 22 , 29 , and April 5 , all area Catholic Church Parishes will offer the Sacrament of Penance from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM . All are encouraged and welcome to come and experience God ’ s mercy and forgiveness through this Holy Sacrament on one of these Wednesdays or at another time during this Lenten Season .
