ARA & CIRO Partnership
Over the last few months CIRO and the Australian Railway Association ( ARA ) have been laying the foundations of a partnership .
The ARA is the peak body for the rail sector in Australia and New Zealand , and advocates for more than 230 member organisations across the rail industry .
The Australasian rail industry share similar issues to the UK , such as the challenge of knowledge retention and upcoming retirement .
This new partnership will allow collaboration between both organisations and will facilitate knowledge sharing and networking for members .
Annette Shipley former CEO of CIRO says “ this is a really exciting partnership and we are looking forward to developing our network in Australia and New Zealand ”.
Partnering with the ARA supports CIRO ’ s growth in Australia and New Zealand . Future plans could include hosting combined events and learning opportunities .
