Failure and Repetition
Students who fail in core courses must repeat the courses until they pass . Failure in free electives gives the students a choice of repeating them or enrolling in other free electives .
Repetition of courses is permitted for courses marked with “ D ” or lower .
Academic Evaluation
The academic evaluation of students is normally undertaken at the end of each semester , except for first year students whose assessment will be done at the end of the second semester . Credits earned during a summer session will be calculated in the following semester .
Regular students are expected to attain a GPA of not less than 1.75 .
Probationary students are those who obtain a GPA of less than 1.75 .
Termination of Student Status
Students are subject to termination from the program in the following instances :
1 . Students with a cumulative grade point average of less than 1.50 assessed at the end of each semester ( with the exception of the first semester of first year students )
2 . Probationary students with a cumulative grade point average of less than 1.75 evaluated at the end of each academic year

3 . Students with a cumulative GPA of less than 2.00 calculated at the end of the time limitation 4 . Voluntary resignation 5 . Expulsion due to violation of the University ’ s regulations relating to dishonesty in the examination and / or to unreasonable prolonged absence
Academic Leave
Students eligible for academic leave must complete at least one semester and obtain a GPA of not less than 2.00 . Two consecutive semesters are the maximum period for each particular leave . Students must pay fees to maintain their educational opportunities . Students on academic leave may apply for readmission by reporting to the Records Office before the day of actual registration .
Any academic leave effective after the first two weeks from the first day of each semester will result in a letter symbol “ W ” recorded in the transcript .
Transfer of School / Field of Study
A student who wishes to transfer from his / her current school to a new school must have completed a minimum of two semesters in his / her former school .
To qualify for a transfer , the student must submit a request form giving reasons to get the committee ’ s approval . He / she has to make sure that all the procedures have been followed to ensure registration in the next semester . Completed
