Rodney Attorney-at-Law Deejays’ Tribute St. Kitts and Nevis Deejay, Jamsta: Buju is the classic roots reggae griot and dancehall energizer rolled into one. Jamaica/St. DeeJay Kitts and Nevis DJ Yardie: Buju Banton has always been a very powerful influence in the dancehall when it comes to positive music/vibes whenever I am playing. His music is always used in the dance to bless the dance or to cool down a crowd and gives you that mellow feeling/mood. Buju’s music will always be played in a dance and will never sound out of place. People will always request his songs. DJ Yardie’s favourite songs are “Cry No More” and “Go If You Want To”. 18
