Cookie of the Scottish Shortbread
Scottish Shortbread Cookie Ingredients:
4 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 Cup Sugar
1 Pound Cold butter Cubed
Scottish Shortbread Cookie Directions:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
Step 2: In a large bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Knead dough until, about 6 to 10 times. Pat dough into an ungreased 15 by 10 by 1 inch baking pan. Pierce with a fork.
Step 3: Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cut into squares while still warm. Cool on a wire rack.
