Turning an apartment in a sugar factory
into a luxury loft in Canada
Les Ensembliers’s award-winning design ideas tranformed what was once
a space in a sugar refinery into a chic abode called Lofts Redpath.
LES ENSEMBLIERS has completed a
three-floor, 6,000 sq ft residence that
unites three adjoining apartments at Lofts
Redpath, located in Montreal, Canada. The
designers successfully tackled the challenge
of rethinking the initial dimensions and
purpose of the three distinct units, resulting
in a coherent new dwelling that embodies the
owners’ personality.
“We were able to take this project much
further than we had imagined at the start,
thanks to the exceptional relationship our
clients allowed us to build with them,”
said architect Maxime Vandal and interior
