only confer national prestige and industrywide recognition but also qualifies winners for a shot at the FIABCI International Prix d ’ Excellence Award presented at its annual World Congress , scheduled in May 2016 at Panama City .
The Selection Process As far as FIABCI Malaysia is concerned , it is no mean feat to be rated the best of the best , considering the adjudication process that takes seven to eight months , governed at every stage by stringent rules and regulations . It begins with the nomination phase , where projects are received and studied by the Organising Committee for “ preliminary eligibility ”. Qualified nominees are then scrutinised by independent teams of evaluators whose analysis reports , opinions and markings ( scoring ) are presented to the Committee for further analysis and determination of each project ’ s merits . Subsequently , a jury panel short-lists the best three projects for consideration by independent judges whose decision is finally forwarded to the Independent Public Auditor for verification .
