Though occupying the whole block,“ dead frontage” is kept to a minimum: the ground level is transparent and welcoming, there are entrances on all sides of the building, and visual interplay between the interior and exterior, enabled by the generous glass curtain walling, enhances curb appeal and pedestrian interest.
Vattanac Capital is not a“ corporate citadel” like the modernist office schemes of yesteryear. It is open, engaging and stands as a genuine contribution to downtown Phnom Penh’ s upcoming urban rejuvenation. Though Vattanac Capital will soon be joined by other skyscrapers, it will continue to reign supreme through its innovative form and meaningful urban design, explained Stefan Krummeck, Director of TFP Farrells.
