A robust framework is necessary to support innovation whenever and wherever it happens. A successful framework will have aspects to build and maintain an innovative culture. The culture, in turn, addresses the key human element of innovation and is the glue that holds the parts together. Without the people and the culture, the rest of the innovation machinery is meaningless. When everyone in a company sees innovative thinking as the norm, the trust in innovation will grow, and the company will thrive upon it.
