This strategy workgroup realized the initial and second survey
instruments served as an educational tool for businesses as well
as a data collection instruments.
Local businesses are seeing the benefits of offering employee
wellness programs to their employees and are initiating either
new or additional programs at their worksite.
A total of 45 businesses requested assistance from PWP
throughout the 3 year initiative. Many have received assistance
to date. Polk Wellness Professionals will continue to lead the
Worksite Wellness Team.
