Key development issues continue to take shape as we coordinate with local agencies and stakeholders. Land sales through both the City and EPW remain a priority topic, and we will be meeting with officials from both entities this Wednesday at the Developer’ s Focus Group to explore available options. Additionally, I’ ve joined the Water Task Force organized by TAB, which will meet quarterly to address implementation of the recently passed legislation requiring cities to provide impact fee credits when developers install water conservation systems. Ongoing concerns also include delays in the County’ s plan review process— particularly for subdivision improvement plans— as well as challenges with the water company’ s acceptance of impact fee payments, which is currently affecting the City’ s ability to issue building permits.
