THE GARNER TOWN COUNCIL unanimously approved a $ 43,242,802 operating budget for fiscal year 2021-22 , which runs from July 1 , 2021 to June 30 , 2022 . As the chart below illustrates , the adopted FY 2021-22 budget continues to ensure that Garner will have the lowest effective tax and fees burden among Wake County municipalities . Stormwater fees are based on assumed 2,000 square feet and FY 2021-22 recommended rates . Raleigh did not participate in this year ’ s survey of municipalities .
