WHY SHOULD WE READ?
Man has acquired a lot of knowledge. Majority of
this knowledge is got through the reading of books. So books are
treasures. They are more valuable than anyone or any other. They
are gold and diamond mines for every branch of knowledge. A
person who has knowledge is always honored.
Reading habit should be cultivated from early
childhood. Books are our friends. They are always ready to help us.
They offer themselves as our companions. They give our minds the
food it needs.
Those who did not read are throwing away great
wealth, wealth of the past generations. They are starving their
minds.
