Bucket List Vacations 2025 | Page 14

Planning Your Bucket List Vacation
The first step is to have a bucket list. Even if you’ ve never written one down, it’ s probably been on your mind forever. So, take the time to put pen to paper, fingers to keyboard or thumbs to phones to write yours down, focusing more on experiences than destinations. No one will critique it or judge you on your list, so let your heart flow freely.
Once you have a list, prioritize it on how meaningful the experience is and how urgently you wish to do it. One event, destination or experience will typically bubble to the top, making that your target vacation.
Then, as with any vacation planning, it comes down to dreams versus reality. You start with dreaming big, giving yourself plenty of time at the destination, getting a personalized tour or guide, enjoying firstclass tickets and penthouse accommodations while there. Then you get real with yourself: How many vacation days do you have, what is your budget and who will accompany you?
This can all sound daunting at first, but don’ t worry. You have help— your travel advisor.
