Oh,
Peter Pan
Tina Choi | Poetry
Oh Peter Pan don’t deceive me with your little tricks,
We all want to grown up “chicks” (my brother taught me this)
I don’t want to sit all day pray
Until the day
Peter pan
Transforms me into a man
Everyday I’ll have a chocolate sundae with Oreos on top,
Oh and don’t forget to put the heart shaped sprinkles.
If I have a job, I’ll buy all the tootsie rolls in the shop
I won’t worry about the wrinkles
As long as I am an adult.
I can be in a wheelchair all day long,
Playing tag with my dog Arthritie.
This is where I belong
How could I ever be unhappy?
But mommy,
Do I have to wash the dishes today?
My friend never does the dishes, who is it.. Tommie!
Please let daddy stay
And do the dishes. He’s an adult!
