The snowy mosaic with
Land of Oz
Poetry 최한솔
Out there a nasty snowstorm
Along with numerous winter trees
All crushed, mixed into a havoc
I'm scared
That when I open the door
Nowhere is my homeland Kansas
but a whole new strange place
From the first step
Surrounded by strangers
Telling me I've killed someone
That it's already done
The road you're supposed to go
Before the cry of alarm clock
Just a little more
Just a little more
I want to feel yesterday's dream
The warmness that remains
m
The world out in the window
All crushed and mixed in snowstorm
The road towards home is lost
Not the one I knew in my youth
Is it too late?
I've already stepped in
The land of Oz
The silver shoes not mine
To find the witch of rumor
By the name not my own
Along the path someone else has drawn
Is today as same as always?
If so then,
Shall I not wake up yet
For dreams shriveling with dawn
Where I saw my hometown, my name
I call them out, so many times
Snowflakes are knocking at the door
Again today,
I step outside.
Before the myriad flurries surround
the lonely vagabond,
I call out once again
My beloved hometown, my name
I call out once again
